Posting on social media is important and we need to pay more attention to it. At first, when I started publishing. I didn’t think to focus on it. However, the more I keep posting, the better I learned about it. And I would like to share with you some tips that I learned. These things will help you to increase your followers and engagement. So, that makes it more important. And we need to keep doing them even when there are no results. Because we don’t know when there will be results. Also, we need to adjust and change things if something not working.

You can spend time writing your blog post if it’s long. However, before you click the publish button. Spend time to check if you miss anything. That’s when you check this list to make sure that things are good to go.
I don’t think you can check all of them for each post. But I’m sure for each post we will need to check at least one or two of the list. Therefore, you need to keep them in mind. Once you publish something, check the list before you publish.
The idea of these things you need to check before publishing your post on social media. And they are what I also check every day. When we write something, we need to spend some time checking things about our text.

We need to practice these things. Because we tend to forget about them. Therefore, don’t give up when you can’t keep doing them. It takes some time for you to learn about them. And do them easily every day. That’s also what I like to do.
1. Grammar check
First and most important you need to check grammar. Because sometimes we get mistakes in our text. So, before publishing the post to your followers. Always ensure that it’s grammar mistakes-free. This way, you will followers don’t make fun of you.
Sometimes we post things quickly and that could lead us to have grammar mistakes. It happened to me a lot of times before. But I learned that I need to take time before publishing my post to my social media followers.
You need to put this in mind every time you share posts on social media. And any platform you have on the internet. People would feel weird reading your post having grammar mistakes that ruin your picture on the internet. That’s one of the important things you need to check before publishing your post on social media.
It happens a lot to people who write long texts on social media. So, if that’s you, try to check for grammar. Even if it’s only short but needs grammar for it. Then, you would need to spend time checking anything wrong with it.
2. Did you include hashtags
Some posts will be helpful for you to include hashtags on your social media posts. You must include them because it helps to reach more people. And we could forget to include them. Therefore, you must spend some time checking.
You don’t need to include it on all of your social media posts. But if needed, it can be a good idea. Try to see which hashtag is good to add to the post. That’s why you need to take some time before publishing posts on social media.
Maybe add different hashtags for each post. This will be only possible if you spend time before publishing. And it’s why I add it to this list of things you need to check before publishing your post on social media.
I used to forget about it all the time. So, I had to practice and force myself to do it. This way, it can be easy for me in the future. And I can do it for all the posts. Well, I can say now I’m still working on it but it’s better.
3. Is it for everyone or private
Before publishing your social media post. Check if you want to share it with everyone or just your followers. This is something I forget but nowadays I’m working on it. It helps you to organize your social media account.
Also, show things properly to everyone and your followers. If you are serious about what to show. Then, this is for you. And remember you need t practice it. It doesn’t come easily since it’s something we don’t it a lot.
So, make sure to practice this to help you in the future to organize your social media posts. I didn’t know I would need this until I have some friends who taught me about it. It seems easy for them but for me; I need some time to remember to do it haha.
4. Did you share the right link
Sometimes we share the wrong links. And it happens to most of us at some point in our life. Therefore, it’s very important to take some time to check the link added in the post. Because we will need to ensure people get the right link.
Well, this is something we will have to check. So, that means we do it, anyway. But if you tend to forget, you should practice. Because it wasn’t easy for me as well. I had to delete my social media post a lot of times. This is only if you are sharing links on your social media posts. Therefore, I don’t think you will need this unless it’s a post. You don’t need to keep deleting them because of having a wrong link to whatever you trying to link to.
