For example, when he was orphaned at age six and needed to work to support himself, he would often go with other children in search of opportunities to earn money.

3. Perseverance in Learning and Remembering
Once you’ve started seeking knowledge, it’s essential to stay committed. The Prophet Muhammad said that seeking knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim (male or female), but we all know that can be easier said than done. An oft-quoted hadith tells of a man who traveled from Makkah to Madinah to ask about Islam, eventually embracing it in front of Prophet Muhammad after being denied time and again.
After accepting Islam, he turned to other men and said, I have asked [the Prophet] again and again regarding certain things, and he has replied each time. In other words, keep seeking the knowledge!
4. Putting into Practice what you have learned
In Islam, seeking knowledge has been stated as being one of the fundamental commandments. It is something so important, that it takes its place after six major principles of Islam. Seekers of knowledge have also been promised Jannah, which means paradise or heaven in English.
