Career:

He was employed by Taj Hotels, Oberoi group, Welcom group, and Leela Group of Hotels. He was also employed in Salaam Bombay and The Cafe at the Rubin Museum of Art in New York before he joined Junoon.

Junoon is an exclusive Indian restaurant that is located in the Flatiron area of Manhattan. It was praised by Sam Sifton in The New York Times in its first year. In 2011, the company has been recognized as an Michelin Star by Michelin Guide, for six straight years.

Vikas Khanna has worked with some of the famous chefs like Gordon Ramsay, Eric Ripert, Bobby Flay and Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

He opened a restaurant called Ellora located in Dubai for 2020. He was co-hosting his second series of MasterChef India in the year 2011. The show’s cooking style is based on its original British version.
