Maybe you love flowers, but if you’ve ever thought about how to draw a crocus flower, you’re perfectly placed! Towards the end of this helper, you’ll be drawing flowers effortlessly.

Detailed Instructions on How to Draw A Crocus Flower

Step 1

For your early stages in this guide to the most skillful way to draw a crocus flower, the most important thing you want to do is draw a small circle.

If you can freehand make a tight circle at any point that works perfectly, you can also use a drawing compass for a perfect circle.

You can also use something small and round, like a thick pen cap to draw in case you don’t have a drawing compass.

For this step, you can draw this circle with a light pen or pencil as it will be in the last picture.

Step 2

Now that you have the focal point of your crocus flower design, now is the right time to put the most prominent petals! To do this Flowers Drawing, define two gorgeous edges thick at the base and meet at a thinner point towards the end.

For this step, try to attract two petals, as shown in the reference image.

It may take some practice, so maybe use a lighter colored pen to draw on those petals, then go over them with a ballpoint pen or spongier pen when you’re satisfied.

Step 3

You have placed your first two petals, and now that you have gotten the hang of it, now is the right time to add the next two.

For this step, roll two more petals to one side of the current one, just like before.

Step 4

In step 4, where you learn how to draw a crocus flower, you will add another petal at the highest point of the flower.

However, this petal will be a bit narrower and have a slightly different shape than the others, so try hinting at the reference image if you’re struggling.

Step 5

We will include one of the trailing petals in the crocus flower drawing for step 5, so essentially draw on another petal as shown in the reference image.

As is evident, your attraction to crocus flowers is starting to pay off!

Step 6

You’ve almost completed the main piece of your crocus flower design, so you only need to include the last petal for this step.

It should be a bit thinner and sharper than you can see from the reference image. If you’ve followed the wizard, the petals should be roughly the same size, both in length and width.

You can then add some lines in the petals extending from the focal point of the flower to make the petals wavier.

Finally, you can add a few small curved lines to the focal point of the flower to give it a more finished look. There are all the smallest lines you can add for a few little extra touches.

Step 7

There are some uncertain prospects for this next stage of figuring out how to draw a crocus flower so that the reference image will be exceptionally useful!

I would also suggest using a lighter colored pencil for this step before reviewing it with a pen. First, define two striking edges that run between the two smaller petals, as seen in the photo.

They should be very close together and connect towards the end.

Once this is done, draw in one of the leaves by defining two curved edges that descend from the trunk and then meet in the shape of a leaf.

The reference image should prove extremely valuable for this! You attract another leaf to the opposite side when you have that pull.

Step 8

Your crocus flower design is practically complete! For this step, we will add subtleties to your crocus flower design.

First, you can draw the leaf veins with some fine lines. You can see from the reference image how these veins must look!

You can then add some lines in the petals extending from the focal point of the flower to make the petals wavier.

Finally, you can add a few small curved lines to the focal point of the flower to give it a more finished look. There are all the smallest lines you can add for a few little extra touches.

Step 9

Now that you’ve completed your gorgeous floral design, all that’s missing are some pretty tones!

Here it would help if you gave free rein to your creativity and imagination.

We have an illustration of how you can vary it, but make sure you use whatever color you love to bring your floral attraction to life!
